The Irish Archaeology Field School provides a wide range of expert led research focused courses designed to introduce students to practical archaeological field methods, and to build and expand on knowledge and experience gained in the classroom. Courses are ideal for students of anthropology, archaeology, history, medieval studies, bioarchaeology, forensic anthropology, geography, environmental science, Irish studies and community archaeology. Students may earn transferable university credits towards their undergraduate degree, through our academic partners at the Institute for Field Research and Maynooth University Ireland. We also offer a non-accredited program option.

Below is a list of our programs which are now open for registration, including our internships and winter term, for 2023. Further detail on each program is contained within the individual program page. Please note: tuition fees for programs run through our partner organisation the Institute for Field Research must be paid directly to that organisation.
