Denis asked me to circulate the essay title since some of you were asking. Of course if you are not doing the course for credit this is not relevant to you. Remember the essay is 1500 to 2000 words and must include a minimum of 5 to 6 sources. You can use whatever citation style you are comfortable with so long as you are consistent. A lot of the sources you might want to use are also on your online platform. The title is:
‘St Aidan’s Monastery is an excellent example of a complex multi-period monastic/archaeological site. Please discuss, while including reference to the results of the 2021 and, in particular, the 2022 excavations at the site’.
