The Irish Archaeology Field School offers an exciting opportunity for Irish university students to participate in the Ferrycarrig Project. If you are resident in Ireland and currently enrolled in a third level institution in Ireland, you are eligible to apply for as an Irish university student: reduced tuition is available. In addition, there is a scholarship* scheme (places limited to one per institution).

Please note participation in the field school for Irish university students is on an experience only basis as the IAFS is not in a position to provide credit to students enrolled in an Irish university at this time. Theses places are limited!

Irish university student fees: 2018:
There is an administration and insurance fee of €200 for Irish university students; students must attend for a minimum of two weeks, and may attend for an unlimited time thereafter, depending on availability.
Each third level university is offered one FREE place for a student of their choice each year. To avail of this offer, please contact your supervisor. Nomination are due by 1st December 2017 (winter) and 13th April 2018 (summer).
