Dr. Dara Fleming Farrell

Dr. Dara Fleming-Farrell 

Dara Fleming-Farrell has extensive experience using a range of three-dimensional imaging techniques, including laser scanning, computed tomography, and photogrammetry, in archaeology and osteoarchaeology. She completed her BA at Trinity College Dublin where she read Ancient History and Archaeology and the History of Art and Architecture before completing an MSc in Forensic Anthropology at the University of Edinburgh. Her MSc dissertation focused on the use of three-dimensional CT images to examine trauma in forensic and archaeological skeletons. Dara completed her PhD in the Digital Arts and Humanities programme at Trinity College Dublin. Her doctoral research investigated the theoretical implications and practice applications of three-dimensional imaging to the study of evidence for interpersonal violence and warfare in archaeological skeletal assemblages.
